DEVELOPMENTAL PLAYERS

Best Of Developmental Players have either not applied for the Best Of or have applied but were placed on the Developmental Best Of list. DP players are very close to the Best Of standard, but we believe still need more time to develop as a player. We will only allow for developmental players from the grades of rising 7th to 10th.

Best Of Developmental Players have qualities and/or attributes as a player that our Best Of staff believe can translate into a top club or college career. They could not gain Best Of acceptance yet because they haven’t played a high enough level, or they still need to improve in a core technical area, or have been playing out of position, or were injured, or got a late start to being introduced to the game.

Our ID events and evaluations are great ways for developmental players to evaluated and ranked on a Level 2 basis.
