WHY WE DO IT
Our mission is very clear! Everything we do is about hosting events where the top prospects on every club team in the world can compete against each other in front of hundreds of US professional/youth scouts, and college coaches. Our events for the younger ages will feature the best players from the MLS Next, ECNL, GA, NAL, USYS leagues, as well as high school and international players. For the older ages, we will coordinate transfer portal and pro league combines.
Our main objective at our events is to assist our players with becoming Committed, Recommitted or Signed at the highest level achievable. At the base of everything we do is:

Providing a detail-oriented evaluation for all top prospects

Formulating a performance-based player ranking system for top prospects.

Preparing a To-Do List for players regarding player pathway, i.e. training habits, communication with coaches, timeline best practices and general advisory guidance.

Creating a plan for our players regarding building relationships with pro, club, and college coaches.

Educating top prospects on the realities of the process to get to the next level. We are strategically able to give players the “inside scoop”!
Our ranking system will be calculated from a mixture of GPS analytics from the 11 v. 11 games against other elite players, our technical skill-based testing, our speed & strength testing and most importantly, the evaluations of our consortium of Best Of former professional scouts, club directors and college coaches. We will categorize the rankings in two parts - Level 1 & Level 2. Level 1 is our core focus ranking scale and for players who have attended our events.
The realities of the soccer recruiting in the US whether it is for club, college or professional is that the margins are so small between players, the recruiting landscape is ultra-competitive, the opportunities are extremely limited, and the recruiting geography is large. It is becoming harder and harder to stand out on a national level! Did you ever ask yourself; how do prospective pro, collegiate and youth players ensure that they are doing everything to play at the highest level? Or how do professional scouts, college coaches or youth coaches find the most talented players nationally and internationally? Or how do Professional Scouts, College Coaches or Youth Directors know if they should recruit a MLS Next player, an ECNL player, an NAL player, a USYS player, a High School player, or an International player? With so many leagues, clubs, teams, and the geography being so large: do the best players ever get a chance to compete against each other?
The Best Of Player Academy exists to provide answers to all those questions in a proving ground environment for Only the Best players.
